Tatum O’Neal, 44, was recently arrested and charged with 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Sunday, O’Neal was just a few blocks from her home in Manhattan, when she was caught buying cocaine. She was also caught with crack, cocaine, and a crack pipe when police searched her.

The Oscar-winning actress said that she was doing it as research for her upcoming movie role but eventually gave in and said that it was for her own use. According to witnesses, she was begging and crying to law enforcement and proclaiming that she has been sober for a while and just had a relapse. She has made it public in her book, “A Paper Life”, that she battled with addiction in the past.

O’Neal has to appear in court on July 28th.

It looks like a few celebs are moving out of Hollywood and going straight to Splitsville. One of those celebs is none other than the actor in the upcoming movie, “Burn After Reading”, George Clooney. It has been reported that he has broken up with his year or so long girlfriend, Sarah Larson. The couple met for the first time nearly four years ago at Vegas’ The Whiskey Bar. They then met again in 2007 and started dating.

When Clooney’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, was asked about the split he said “We do not comment on George’s personal life.” However, a source close to the couple say that Clooney is indeed back on the market. “He is relieved to be single again” says the source. And just this past weekend, he was seen vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with a group of guy friends.

What makes this whole thing a little awkward is that Sarah Larson did a photoshoot and participated in an interview about Clooney in the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The magazine is on newsstands now.

Now, Mr. Clooney isn’t the only new resident of Splitsville…

Actor/comedian Bill Murray is currently going through a divorce. His wife of 11 years, Jennifer Butler Murray, filed for divorce on May 12th. Drug and alcohol addiction, frequent abandonment, and abusive behavior are her reasons for ending the marriage according to The Post and Courier of Charleston.

Ng See-Yuen, who is the founder of China’s UME Cineplex chain, has banned all movies featuring Sharon Stone. This comes after the award-winning actress made some controversial remarks at the Cannes Film Festival.

Stone, 50, was talking to the media when she voiced her opinion on China and the recent earthquake that killed thousands. “And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma - when you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?” she said to reporters. Many are voicing their frustrations and are demanding that she apologize for what she said. So far, Stone has kept quiet since the incident.

Native Texan and pop singer, Jessica Simpson, has some new music coming out. But it’s not what everyone is used to hearing. She’s actually working on a country album and there is already a preview making its way around the ‘net. WQIK has the song “Come On Over” posted on their website, click on over to listen .

Although I’m not a big follower of country music, I will have to say this song is no good. The only thing that sounds country to me is the music itself, not her voice. But will Jessica gain the support of true country fans? According to her father/manager, Joe Simpson, yes. He says to People magazine, “She’s from Texas. How could she not?” We’ll all have to wait until the album is released to find out the real answer.

In other news, rapper and actor Xzibit, is mourning the loss of his 11-day old son. At 3:30am on Monday, Xavier Kingston Joiner, passed away due to lung complications. He was born prematurely on Thursday, May 15th. Xzibit shared the joy of his newborn son and also the sad news to his fans all on his MySpace blog .

My condolences go out to Xzibit and his family during this difficult time.

Miley Cyrus, better known to some as Hannah Montana, is probably red in the face after more of her personal photos were recently leaked. This comes just a few weeks after her last MySpace photo scandal.

In the latest photos, the 15-year-old is seen lifting up her shirt to show her stomach and underwear. These are similar to past photos that she took. To see the photos click here .

The photos are believed to be taken for Jonas Brothers member, Nick Jonas, who she dated last year. Hopefully, she will learn her lesson and not take photos of this nature anymore. And there is obviously someone close to her that really isn’t there to be a friend.

George Clooney, 47, has always been known as one of the most handsome Hollywood stars. However, I don’t think alot of people realize just how good-looking the man is. If you have never found him attractive or have had a change of heart over the years, take a look at this…

Now that isn’t the only surprise that was seen this week. There has been a rumor going on for a long while that Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson were more than just friends. But now there may be some photographic evidence to prove the rumor valid. Check out the photos below…

Legendary frontman Steven Tyler checked himself into rehab on Wednesday. He is currently at Las Encinas Hospital being treated for “substance abuse”. Las Encinas Hospital is the same one featured in the reality show, “Celebrity Rehab”. It does not look as though he will be participating in the show however.

Tyler battled with drugs in the 70s and 80s but was believed to be clean for the last 20 years. In 2003, he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, stemming from drug paraphernalia. He went through intense chemotherapy and is now disease-free.

Some people close to Tyler are now putting the blame on his long-term relationship with Erin Brady, who is known for her hard partying. While others say that his health and injuries over the past several years may have cause him to be dependent on pain killers. Whatever the case may be, the 60-year old rocker has alot of support behind him.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren tied the knot on Monday and they were very sneaky about it! Even her family weren’t aware of the wedding. The two went into a Beverly Hills courthouse, applied for their marriage license, and just a mere 40 minutes later they exchanged vows. There were no guests in attendance.

Jessica’s father and brother were informed of her marriage through the media. Us Weekly magazine revealed the news to her brother and what was his response? “My sister!? I’m going to have to call her!” Her father, Mark Alba, told Latina magazine “I think it’s good news for her. I’m glad for her. She’s a beautiful girl. I’m her dad and I’m happy for her no matter what happens.”

Jessica, who is due in June, and Cash confirmed rumors that they were expecting their first child in December of last year. Shortly after that they announced their engagment. The couple met in 2005 on the set of the Fantastic Four movie.

It seems that actress Lindsay Lohan is always have some sort of problem. She is being sued by Masha Markova for stealing her mink coat back in January.

The two women were guests at a private party at 10ak nightclub in Manhattan, New York. Markova realized her coat was missing and later saw a photograph of Lohan wearing her $11,000 coat in OK! Magazine. She then contacted the club and complained about her coat being stolen by the “Mean Girls” actress. The coat was eventually returned to Markova but to her dismay, it reaked of “cigarettes and liquor”.

The lawyer for Markova, Merrill Cohen, says that Lohan’s actions were “intentional, oppressive and malicious and were carried out with reckless disregard”. The amount Markova is seeking for the damages has not yet been revealed.

The 17th Annual MTV Movie Awards are just around the corner, June 1st(live at 8pm eastern) to be exact.  It will be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Actor Mike Myers, who was honored at the show last year with the MTV Generation Award, will be the host.

Several big stars are expected to attend the event. Lindsay Lohan, Steve Carell, Jennifer Hudson, and Jack Black are some of the celebs that will be presenting awards during the night.

Movies like I am Legend, Juno, Knocked Up, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End are nominated for the famous Golden Popcorn award.

And what is an MTV award show without music? Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls are a couple of the performers set to take the stage.
