The Dog Is Back
Popular reality television series, Dog the Bounty Hunter, is coming back to a tv set near you. A&E executives have confirmed that the show will return this summer after being off the air since November of last year.
The show was pulled from the channel after the racial-slur controversy centering around Duane “Dog” Chapman and his son’s girlfriend, who is African-American. A tape was released in which Chapman could be heard saying the N-word in reference to the woman.
Since this event, Chapman has been working hard on redeeming himself and fixing his image. Michael Feeney, A&E spokesman, has said that Chapman is not racist and he deserves a second chance.
Dog the Bounty Hunter is set to return with reruns of the last season on June 25th and the new season will begin on July 16th. The viewership of the show is expected to be over 2 million.
